How Will I Receive The Download Of The Pattern I Ordered:
There are two ways you can receive your PDF. Upon completing your order, an email will instantly be sent to you. It will have the PDF attached to it. It will also be available to you in your account if you created one. It will also be saved for you there for future downloads.
Are All Of Your Items Authentic Vintage:
Yes! With the exception of the PDF downloads of pattern books, magazines and booklets.
Does This Item Come In A Different Color Or Size:
Sorry, it doesn't. All of our items are vintage, one of a kind items, they are not reproductions. With the exception of the occasional book or pattern where I might have more than one for sale, there is only the one item in stock. When it is sold, all are gone.
Sizing and Measuring:
I strongly advise going by measurements and using any size information as a guide. This is true for both clothing and patterns. Sizing has changed through the years. Garments may have some shrinkage from cleaning or may have been altered.
How are the Garments Cleaned?
I subscribe to less is more when dealing with vintage fabrics and fibers. This is something I do for my own fine washables. Even my friends think it's crazy, but I swear it works. It's amazing what a good airing outside in a covered area will do for a garment. Here in the Pacific NW, we often have stormy, rainy weather. The stormier it is, the sweeter garments will smell. Items which have spots, a dust coating gathered on the shoulders, or can easily be laundered, receive a gentle, appropriate spot removal and laundering. Usually done by hand.
Rarely will dry cleaning be done. If it is, it will be noted in the description. Shrinkage to garments and damage (especially to embellishments) can happen. There is no way to know if a garment will be cleaned at the beginning of a new batch of chemicals or at the end. I will and do try to sell clean smelling and looking garments, but will leave the dry cleaning option to buyers.
Is There Mending?
It seems like almost always! Since I sew, I do my own. Unsightly, ill done mending of previous owners will be removed and done correctly. I try to avoid garments which require more than a touchup, but sometimes, I just can't resist. This will always be noted in the description. A touchup is a small (1-2 inch) seam repair, securely tightening of buttons or hooks. These types of mending seem to come with the territory, and will not usually be noted in descriptions.
Do You Ship Outside the United States?
Yes. Payment must be made in U.S. dollars. The buyer will be responsible for all customs charges and fees which is not included in the shipping charges paid to "Angel Elegance Vintage". Customs forms will be marked as "merchandise" not as a "gift".
Alaska and Hawaii will be treated the same as U.S. orders because they are a part of the U.S. This is also true for APO boxes.

Layaways and Holds:
Holds: Seven day holds will only be placed on items which have gone through the check-out process and are waiting for a check or money order to arrive.
Layaway: I will be happy to setup a layaway plan. Please contact me first, and I will put the item or items on Reserve for you and setup a payment plan with you. Using this payment plan, I will send requests for payment either through PayPal or the credit/debit card service Stripe.
Initial, **nonrefundable** down payment of 25% of total purchase will be due within 5 days of our agreement. I will place your item(s) on hold when I receive that payment. Shipping charges will be included in the last payment. The balance will be due within 90 days. You can choose to split the balance in 2, 3 or 4 payments. Must be paid within 90 days of initial transaction. If it is not, and no futher arrangements have been agreed on, I reserve the right to remove the hold, retain the nonrefundable down payment and sell the item(s).
Boxes and Packaging:
Most orders will be shipped in what is provided by the USPS. On those occasions when USPS boxes and envelopes are not used, I use clean and strong, recycled boxes and supplies whenever possible. I purchase recycled boxes, packing peanuts and bubble wrap from a local supplier and recycler. Boxes which have been used quite a bit and are not strong enough for shipping are sent to a recycler to be transformed and find life in another form.
What is My Item Worth?
Sorry, I am unable to give appraisals. I do recommend that you contact an appraiser in your area to help you determine the value of your items.
For research requests, there is a large amount of information available online. As much as I would like to help, responding to these requests takes time away from my ability to not only provide quality items, but to provide good customer service.
Can I Visit Your Store?
While I have had a store in the past, currently, Angel Elegance Vintage is online only and occasionally exhibits at antique shows. Please check the "Site & Show News" link for when and where these shows are. If you happen to be attending and would like me to bring a particular item, just let me know. I will be happy to bring that item if at all possible.
The information you supply to Angel Elegance Vintage, which includes your name, address and any other details you provide, will only be used for the purpose of fulfilling your order or occasionally used for making special offers to you. Your name or information will not be shared or sold.
