1930s Knitting Patterns Sweater Dress

Several different styles of clothing are in this book - cardigan style sweaters, skirts with matching top, short sleeved dress with square neckline, dress with pleated skirt and so much more!

Instructions given are for a 1939 size 16 -- not today's size 16. Size measurements for one of the dresses reads: Hipline 37 in., Waistline 27 in., Length to normal waistline 27 in., Bust 35-1/4 in. (ribbed in), Width across back at underarm 16-1/2 in. (ribbed in), Width across back at shoulders 12-3/4 in., Length from normal waistline to underarm 8 in.
